BlockBeats News, November 2nd, according to FOX 4, residents of Hood County, Texas, are planning to establish the new town of "Mitchell Bend" through a referendum to restrict Bitcoin mining farm noise. Bitcoin mining company Mara Holdings intends to block the election and has filed a lawsuit in federal court, claiming the residents' petition is invalid and officials are colluding. The mining farm operates over 60,000 ASIC machines day and night, and residents complain that the noise is disturbing. The court will rule on whether to halt the operation before the official vote next week.
